  • Michael Henrie, D.O. is a Sports Medicine Physician at the Ογ½ΆΚΣΖ΅ of Utah. Dr. Henrie received his medical degree from Kansas City Ογ½ΆΚΣΖ΅ of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation followed by a Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine fellowship at the Ογ½ΆΚΣΖ΅ of Utah. In addition to working with local high school teams, he is the co-medical director for the Salt Lake Marathon and provides medical coverage for various cycling events. Dr. Henrie’s clinical interests include sports medicine and treating sports injury and general musculoskeletal injury in people of all ages and activity levels. He has a special interest in the treatment of running and cycling injuries, sports related spine injury, and performing ultrasound guided diagnosis and treatment of muscle and tendon injuries. He also has an interest in general spine problems and fluoroscopically guided interventional spine procedures. In his leisure time Dr. Henrie can be found on his road bike or mountain bike or climbing and skiing with his children. Dr. Henrie's current research interests include exercise applications for back pain and musculoskeletal conditions, ski and snowboard injury, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

    Dr. Henrie is a gifted Injury Orthopedic Doctor. His level of confidence, knowledge and wisdom is mind blowing. Your can hear, feel it and see it in his speech. Eye contact, skill set , how he resolves a patients Injury. I want to stay with Dr. Henrie, see him, should I incurr any Orthopedic Injury. You get this feeling, that " This Doctor ( Dr. Henrie) is going to fully heal me. I'm a grateful patient of Dr. Henrie and would drive anywhere to go see him as needed.
